Lightning Pick Version 5.4 is Released

The new Lightning Pick Version 5.4 introduces the LP Dashboard, an advanced Productivity Data Analytics Tool utilizing next generation graphical user interface tp provide superior visibility and decision support.
Version 5.4 also supports RF Cluster Picking, Secondary Pick Locations, Enhanced Trait Acquisition and the new Lightning Pick QC Workstation.

Lightning Pick provides an ecologically and economically sound alternative to using the substantial amounts of paper pick tickets and labels required by manual picking operations. Pick, Put and Pack-to-Light order selection and sortation strategies are paperless, and therefore conserve natural resources.
Light-directed picking methodologies also address energy concerns by consuming lower amounts of electricity than other automated picking methods, including other models of Pick-to-Light hardware available in the marketplace.
Goody Products gets a major boost in productivty by retrofitting their legacy Pick-to-Light system with Lightning Pick.

Attendees could see one order download being picked with three different order picking solutions (Pick-to-Light, Voice-Directed Picking and Voice-Directed Picking) being picked with one solutoin - Lightning Pick. Visitors also saw the debut of the advanced new LP Dashboard. The Dashboard enables any executive, manager or supervisor to easily view pick rate productivity, accuracy,
throughput and other vital statistics in their order fulfillment operation. Through simple point and click commands
the highly intuitive graphical user interface enables data views in a variety of high impact two and three dimensional
chart and graph formats.
Lightning Pick and Voxware Announce Solution Partnership

Lightning Pick Technologies, a leading provider of light-directed order fulfillment execution solutions, today announced their partnership with Voxware, Inc., a leading supplier of software for voice-driven warehousing operations.
The Lightning Pick Product Suite will now leverage the Voxware 3 platform to provide distributors with a proven Voice-Directed picking application as a standalone solution, or as a fully integrated system with Pick-to-Light, Put-to-Light or other advanced order fulfillment execution technologies. Now distribution operations can optimize their order selection processes with both the leading best-of breed Pick to Light and the best-of-breed Voice Picking products in the marketplace.

The Lightning Pick suite of products support and compliment Manhattan’s Supply Chain Solutions, and feature proven integration with Manhattan’s standard material handling systems interface.
Manhattan and Lightning Pick share many mutual customers throughout a wide spectrum of demanding vertical industries, including automotive, consumer products, retail and direct-to-consumer on all WMS platforms. Sandi Tibbets Join Lightning Pick as the new Software Test Engineer

Our customers know the advantages of Lightning Pick providing a true, tested and versioned product. Unlike custom developed applications, the LP product is simpler to install and integrate with host business systems, offers better performance for rigorous daily operations and is far easier to support when necessary. As an actual product Lightning Pick is also easier to upgrade, allowing our customers to take advantage of new innovative features and modules.
Therefore Lightning Pick’s continuous product development requires considerable software testing before it’s ready for delivery. So we are pleased to welcome Sandi Tibbetts as the new Software Test Engineer.
