LP RFID on Demand allows companies to meet their RFID EPC compliance requirements on existing lines using many of the equipment vendors they already use today.

At the same time our “on demand” feature greatly reduces the operating costs by tagging only those cases required. Often customers can save enough in tags to pay for the system in a matter of months.

RFID on Demand incorporates an automatic RFID applicator / tag encoder, a Windows based work cell controller, a field interface panel and Lightning Pick Technologies software to interface with an EPC database.

The system supports a wide degree of variations based upon a customer’s requirement from simple unverified systems through multi-applicator systems for increased throughput and redundancy. The system supports printer/applicators as well as allowing the RFID tag to double as the shipping label.

LP RFID On Demand is flexible to work with a wide range of applicators and conveyer control equipment. All major RFID readers are supported including Alien, Samsys, AWID and Symbol/Matrix.
